Available in any size up to 4000mm, this system comes with a custom-made insulated upstand, with concealed integrated motors to create a low-profile, thermally efficient rooflight. If your projects requires both fixed and opening rooflights, the EOS97 will ensure both units look identical.
Heat-Soak Testing: Each toughened glass pane undergoes rigorous heat-soak testing to identify and eliminate any potential weaknesses. This process involves heating the glass to a high temperature and then cooling it, which simulates real-world conditions and helps ensure that any glass with internal defects will fail during testing rather than in your home.
Laminate: Laminated glass is composed of two or more layers of glass with an interlayer of polyvinyl butyral (PVB). In case of breakage, the interlayer holds the glass together, preventing dangerous shards from falling into the room below.
Motors on the EOS97 are integrated within the upstand rather than in an additional aluminum frame. This means the system sits approx. 100mm lower to the roof than most other products on the market. It also means that a fixed and opening rooflight have the same site lines, rather than the opening unit sitting higher.
The unique design of our opening rooflight allows your plasterboard to be fitted almost flush with the glass. Once installed, the EOS97 benefits from the same ‘Hole in the Roof’ appearance that is shared across the range.
By replacing the lower aluminum frame, typically found in our competitors’ products, we have completely eliminated any cold bridging. This innovation allows us to offer a product that is far superior in terms of thermal performance.
What’s more, the system still benefits from our market-leading thermal insulation and internal frameless finish, which are features of the EOS97 range.
